Just across the Chattahoochee River from Atlanta sits the charming yet vibrant town of Vinings. What began as a railroad junction and an attempt to connect the industrial Midwest to Savannah is now the tight-knit suburb known as Vinings. The Pace House, also the original name for the town, is a historic, nineteenth-century home that serves as a place for weddings and special events. Additionally, The Old Pavilion is located nearby and is one of the oldest surviving structures holding events.

After you spend the afternoon shopping, stop for lunch at Paces and Vine to enjoy some classic American comfort food with a local twist. If you need more shopping, look no further than Cumberland Mall, located near Atlanta. Here you’ll find a variety of the stores that you know and love, plus several different dining options and even a bowling and amusement center.
 
If you’re looking for delicious dining, there is no shortage of Southern staples.
